Kat Von D -Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette Review!

I just knew that this was going to be one of the first things I purchased from Sephora as I adore matte eye shadows! I have been searching for a good palette containing only matte shades but unfortunately there are very few matte eye shadow palettes around! Thankfully Kat Von D has thought of this and brought out one which is called Shade + Light eye contour palette.

The palette is made from cardboard but it is quite sturdy and beautifully designed with black and gold elegant font. Although the packaging has recently been changed to a hard shell case I love the style of this black palette and once you open it up, you will find you are not disappointed. It is both beautiful and impressively packed with twelve shades. All are matte and vary between warm, neutral and cool tones. Also it contains a mirror on the inside lid which comes in handy for applying your eye shadow!

Overall I was super impressed with this eye shadow palette and would definitely repurchase this beauty product again. I can’t speak highly enough about it. The shades are gorgeous and I think they would suit most people. The size of the eye shadow pans are generous and bigger than most other makeup palettes which is a good thing as this has become one of my go to product when creating different looks.
