This is the perfect treat to make as the temperature grows colder outside and since it is December I thought I would share with you all my recipe for mint hot chocolate! This is an acquired taste but don’t knock it till you try it!
3 drops of Peppermint essence oil
200g milk chocolate
2 tablespoons of sugar
Whipped cream (to garnish)
Mini peppermint candy cane (to garnish)
Gentle heat the milk in a saucepan. Break the chocolate into pieces and slowly add them to the milk. Stir until all chocolate has melted. Continue until almost boiling. Remove from the heat and stir in the cream.
Pour into mugs and add whipped cream and candy canes to garnish.
